How to Set a Custom Paper Size on a Sharp MX-3070 Copier

  1. Turn On the Copier: Make sure the Sharp MX-3070 is turned on and is in a ready state.

  2. Load Paper: Place the custom-sized paper in the paper tray you wish to use.

Accessing the Settings:

  1. Go to the Home Screen: Press the 'Home' button on the control panel, if not already there.

  2. Access System Settings: Tap on the 'System Settings' icon on the touchscreen.

  3. Select 'Common Settings': In the System Settings menu, tap on 'Common Settings'.

  4. Choose 'Paper Type Management': Scroll down and select this option.

  5. Tap on 'Paper Size Settings': This will allow you to configure custom paper sizes.

Setting the Custom Paper Size:

  1. Select the Paper Tray: Choose the paper tray where you've loaded your custom-sized paper.

  2. Choose 'Custom': In the paper size options, scroll down and select 'Custom'.

  3. Enter Dimensions: Input the width and height of your custom paper size. Make sure to confirm the units (mm or inches).

  4. Save Settings: Tap 'OK' or 'Save' to save the custom paper size settings.

Confirming and Testing:

  1. Confirm Settings: A summary screen may appear. Confirm that the settings are correct.

  2. Test Print: It's a good idea to perform a test print to ensure that the custom paper size has been set correctly.

  3. Exit: Tap 'Exit' or 'Home' to return to the main screen.

Your Sharp MX-3070 is now set to use the custom paper size for future print jobs.
